As a rule: a status document is the normal outcome

In the vast majority of cases the Union-goods status of your boat can be proven – our specialised lawyers review every case individually.

If it cannot be proven in rare cases, the money-back guarantee applies.

The same applies to the T2L customs document: If a status document can be issued, the customs authority will also issue the requested T2L with 99 per cent certainty. Should that exceptionally not happen, you will also receive the full fee back in that case.

The more complete your documents, the better

Helpful documents include:

• Purchase contract and purchase invoice for the boat
• Invoices from shipyards, marinas and maintenance work
• Customs, registration and flag documents
• Insurance documents and expert reports
• Photos, logbooks and other records of the boat's history

When does the money-back guarantee apply?

Only if the Union-goods status cannot be proven, for example when:

• Missing records

  No usable documents are available.

• Gaps in the chain of records

  The boat's history cannot be documented.

• Contradictory documents

  The records do not yield a reliable proof.

• Lack of cooperation

  Required documents are not provided to us.

These cases are the exception – before refusing, we examine every possibility and contact you if something is missing.

What does the money-back guarantee cover?

If no status document can be issued or the customs authority refuses the T2L, we refund the full fee you paid – for the status document at €490 as well as for the package at €710.

Either you receive your document – or your money back.

Money-back guarantee and representation guarantee

The money-back guarantee refunds the fee you paid if we cannot issue a status document or the customs authority refuses the T2L.

The representation guarantee applies if customs does not accept your document at a control: we handle the legal case on the merits – without additional lawyer's fees for you. More about the representation guarantee
